Yes. LA PERLE is made to turn open vessels into candles, from empty jars to wide glass coupes and ceramic bowls.
For one wick, choose a stable vessel at least 4 in / 10 cm wide at its narrowest point. Keep 2 in / 5 cm of pearls between the wick and every side, with enough pearls underneath so the wick never touches the bottom.
How many wicks should I use?
Start with one wick for a small vessel.
For larger pieces, add more wicks as long as each flame stays away from the edges and each wick sits above a deep bed of pearls.
If wicks are placed close together, their wax may join into one removable piece. Let it cool, lift it out, and refresh the pearls underneath.
What happens after a wick burns out?
Only the pearls around the wick melt, forming a small wax capsule.
Once cooled, lift the wick out with your fingers, shake the vessel, and insert a new wick. Your candle is renewed in seconds.
If several wicks melt together, remove them as one piece. For a zero-waste refresh, the cooled wax capsule can be gently crushed inside a small bag and returned to the pearls.
How does it stay brand new?
LA PERLE never burns as one solid candle.
Only the pearls touching the wick melt. The rest stays loose, clean, and untouched.
Remove the cooled wax capsule, shake the vessel, and the surface looks brand new again.
How long does it last?
LA PERLE lasts up to 3× longer than a traditional candle of equal weight.
Each cotton wick can burn up to 12 hours. For the longest burn, insert it deep into the pearls and leave only a few millimeters visible.
The 500g refill offers up to 200 hours of total burn time, depending on your vessel, the number of wicks, and how long you let them burn.
Is it scented?
LA PERLE is intentionally unscented.

Any cleaning required?

Once the wax has cooled, lift out the small capsule around the wick, shake the pearls back into place, and refill if needed.
